Münster is the high level centre of the Münsterland, situated close to the Ruhr and the Netherlands. The city of culture, science and research is characterised by fast reachability: regardless whether you take the A1 and A43 motorways, the train, or airplane. From Osnabrück, Dortmund, Essen, and Enschede (NL), Münster can be reached within an hour's drive, from Cologne, Bremen, and Hannover, it's less than two hours.
